Get It Inn Island Cuisine II

Came in for lunch on a Sunday and, upon the recommendation of the bartender, ordered the oxtails. The dish was a nice sized portion with sides of red beans & rice, and cabbage. The oxtails themselves were tender and flavorful, spiced with cloves and juniper. The cabbage was also flavorful and was cooked just right; soft on the outside, but still a little crunchy. The rice was served with two julliened sweet plantains and worked well to mop up all of the drippings. Service was friendly and I'll definitely be back to try other items.

My son and I wanted some Caribbean food, looked up Caribbean restaurants near me and this restaurant was the first one that popped up. The atmosphere was great! Clean restaurant! Upon entering the restaurant, we were immediately greeted by the hostess and were provided with water and menus. The hostess was very pleasant and professional. The server was pleasant and professional as well. The food was freaking awesome!! I grew up in a Caribbean home and the dish I had was pretty damn close (curry chicken, rice and peas, cabbage and plantains my son, brown stew chicken and same side dishes as mine) to my Mama's cooking! We will be coming back to explore more Caribbean dishes on the menu. Thank you Bartender P!

I really enjoyed having lunch here this week. A pleasant visit to a Jamaican restaurant that has an extensive menu to suit your tastes. Nice bar area and enough tables inside to sit down and enjoy your meal. James, the owner is really nice. You can tell he's passionate about his business and product. He is very professional and kind. I ordered the $7 lunch special. Fried catfish. Comes with cabbage, rice & peas, and plantains. It was very good! And a generous amount. This place is run very well. It's sometimes hard to find a Jamaican/Caribbean eatery with friendly service and a full menu available. The restaurant is located in a nice and safe area. Parking could be a challenge on weekends/nights. I would recommend you take an Uber/taxi. James also has every item available for take-out. They take all major credit cards. Overall, I totally recommend you stop in, or order for pick up. The service is fast and friendly. You won't be disappointed. I'm looking forward to comi...
